The Daley Group at Douglas Elliman (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects the privacy of everyone who visits thedaleygroup.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Real estate is a business built on trust, and how we handle your information is part of that.

Information you give us

We only ask for what we need to respond to you. When you request a consultation, ask for a home valuation, subscribe to The Daley Dose, or otherwise contact us through a form on this site, we collect what you choose to provide:

• Your email address
• Your phone number, if you provide one
• Whatever you tell us in the message field
• The page the form was submitted from

You are never required to give us a phone number, and we do not ask for financial account information, Social Security numbers, or any other sensitive identifiers through this website.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is served — IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the time of the request. This is used to keep the site running, secure, and reasonably fast. It is not used to build a marketing profile of you.

How we use your information

We use what you share with us to respond to your inquiry, to provide the market intelligence or property information you asked for, and — if you subscribed — to send you The Daley Dose. If you become a client, we use it to represent you in your transaction. That is the extent of it.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade your contact details to third-party marketers. We share information only in these circumstances: with Douglas Elliman as our brokerage of record, where a transaction or brokerage obligation requires it; with service providers who operate systems on our behalf, such as our customer relationship management and email delivery platforms, which are permitted to use the information only to provide that service; with professionals directly involved in a transaction you are party to, such as title companies, lenders, inspectors, or attorneys, and only as that transaction requires; and where disclosure is required by law or by a regulatory or licensing authority.

Cookies and third-party content

Some pages on this site include content, media, and search tools served by third parties — including our MLS-powered property search, which is operated by an independent IDX provider on a separate subdomain, and embedded video. These third parties may set their own cookies and collect usage data under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings; blocking them may affect how property search and embedded media behave.

Property search and MLS data

Our property search is provided through an IDX feed licensed from the local multiple listing service. If you create a saved search or account within that search tool, that account is governed by the search provider's own terms and privacy policy in addition to this one.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from The Daley Dose at any time using the link in any issue. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — write to the email address below and we will respond promptly. Note that we may need to retain certain records where real estate license law, brokerage policy, or an active transaction requires it.

Data security

This site is served over an encrypted connection, and form submissions are transmitted securely to the systems we use to manage client inquiries. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise — but we limit what we collect, limit who can see it, and work with established providers.

Children

This site is intended for adults engaging in real estate transactions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Fair housing

The Daley Group is committed to the letter and the spirit of the Fair Housing Act and equal opportunity housing. We do not use the information collected through this site to steer, exclude, or otherwise differentiate among prospective buyers or sellers on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, or any other protected characteristic.

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
